Welcome to York Lake Lodges

Are you looking for the perfect getaway, somewhere to forget about work and the stresses of everyday life ? Somewhere you can open the curtains in a morning, push open the double doors and sit out on the decking and see a beautiful lake with ducks, geese and heron and enjoy a coffee or perhaps a glass of wine ?
There is nothing more relaxing than sitting and watching the antics of the ducks and there many ducklings.

Then there is no need to look any further, this is the place for you. Situated in a prime position our lodges are next to a fishing lake and fountain. What more can you ask for, the ideal place for family holidays or a romantic getaway for you and your loved one.

We are very proud of the service that we provide, which is why we will be continually working on improving our service to ensure you receive the best holiday. Our commitment to quality is reflected in the reviews and feedback we have received from our wonderful guests.

We listened to our guest’s ideas and suggestions and having gained a strong belief in Goosewood Park as a target short break and holiday destination with a great future. Fountain Lake Lodge accepts up to two well behaved dogs. Goosewood is a great base for dog lovers, with good walks on site. It would be a shame to deny our guests the chance to bring their pooches for a well deserved break. The Park is a wildlife area which must be respected and dogs must be kept on there lead at all times outside. New this season is the addition of a hot tub !!

Laburnum Lodge is a modern luxury Lodge set in a superb lake side location approximately 100m from Fountain Lake Lodge but with the added attraction of a hot tub which is sunk into the deck not only giving you plenty of privacy but where you can still see the beautiful lake. We have a strict no smoking policy inside both lodges and provide cigarette bins on decking areas for your cigarette ends. Laburnum Lodge is also pet friendly and accepts up to two well behaved dogs.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside and small, rural villages with quaint pubs, restaurants plus much more to make this a visit you will want to repeat time and time again in the future.

Please note that although we are able to welcome guests in February Goosewood Holiday Park’s Facilities are not open until 1st March. So the bar/bistro/pool and shop are not open.

Due to our lodges being on a family park we are unable to accept any bookings from stag/hen parties or any large same sex parties. The park is more suited to families or couples wishing to enjoy the lovely peace and quiet this park offers.
